Ami Organics Q3 net profit down 29.53% at Rs 15.70 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 15.70 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 22.28 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 29.53 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 6.13 per cent at Rs 161.70 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 152.36 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 13.66 per cent to Rs 138.17 crore from Rs 121.56 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 4.97 per cent at Rs 2.87 crore versus (Dec'22 Rs 3.02 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 23.60 per cent to Rs 23.53 crore as against Rs 30.80 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 28.01 per cent in December quarter.
Interest grew by 115.13 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.56 crore, while Taxation decreased by 36.35 per cent at Rs 4.64 crore (Dec'22 Rs 7.29 crore).
